Exclusive to Hunter Douglas, the shades feature adjustable fabric vanes attached to a single sheer backing. When the vanes are adjusted, they move in tandem for a fluid and graceful effect. Vanes are available in four- or five-inch widths allowing you to choose the right look for your home. Larger vanes tend to look more modern, while smaller have a more traditional appearance.

UV Protection

It’s common knowledge to wear sunscreen outdoors, but did you know the sun can be just as damaging to your furnishings and other interior items? Repeated exposure to UV rays from the sun can fade and discolor many of your treasured items, such as flooring and artwork. Pirouette® shades provide up to 81% UV protection when the vanes are tilted open and up to 99% protection when the vanes are closed.

Carefree Upkeep

Your sheer window shadings will not only be gorgeous and elegant, but they will also be easy to care for. A regular light dusting with a soft cloth or feather duster to remove surface dust and debris will be all your shades need to look great. Should your Pirouette® shades encounter anything that leaves a spot or stain, you can use water and a gentle detergent to blot it out.
