About Beginning to End Interiors
Beginning to End Interiors & Blinds was named for a simple promise: to guide clients through the entire design process, from the first idea to the finished room. As a full-service interior design firm and certified Hunter Douglas Gallery dealer in Sarasota, we provide interior design solutions and custom window treatments to homeowners across Southwest Florida. Whether a client comes to us with a whole-house project or a single room in mind, we want them to walk through our doors, feel inspired, and enjoy working with our friendly team from start to finish.
Our Story
Beginning to End Interiors grew one thoughtful step at a time. The journey began in our own home, then moved into a small space with room for a drapery workroom and a showroom. As word spread and our clients' needs grew, we took on the unit next door, adding a Hunter Douglas showroom and an upholstery studio. We then took on a third unit and earned our certification as a Hunter Douglas Gallery dealer, one of the highest tiers in the Hunter Douglas network.
With each step, we have brought more of the design process in-house, so today we can handle nearly everything under one roof, from the first consultation to the custom drapery, upholstery, and window treatment solutions that we produce ourselves.
Most of our clients find us online or hear about us from neighbors and friends who have worked with us before. Once a client reaches out, Alan often visits their home in person to help them visualize the possibilities, whether the project is a whole-house redesign or a single window treatment upgrade.

Meet the Team
Beginning to End Interiors is powered by a small team of specialists, each with a distinct role.
Alan Gravley brings a 24-year career in interior design, custom window treatments, drapery, and blinds, along with a gift for listening to clients and guiding them through the design journey. He previously served as a board member of the Interior Design Society and as past president of its Sarasota chapter.
Stan Writesel combines more than three decades of business management experience with a 24-year career fabricating custom window treatments. As Workroom Manager, he leads the production team with a steadfast commitment to quality assurance. He has also served as secretary of the Interior Design Society's Sarasota chapter.
Michele Kissen rounds out our team with more than three decades of upholstery experience, with a keen eye for detail as a precision pattern-matching specialist.
We believe in standards, and we do not want our customers to settle. As a small business, we know every member of our team is essential. Everyone has a distinct, equally important role, which lets each person shine at what they do best. When we come together, there is very little we cannot accomplish for our clients.

Because we keep our drapery workroom and upholstery studio in-house, we control the quality of our work from start to finish.
